Innovative Value Consultants was established during 2004 when Christiaan B Swart, the Principle member, decided to re-energize his career by resigning from SAB Miller's employment after 30 years of service and combine his vast experience in Production Systems, Commercial / Technical interfaces, Applied Statistics and Quality Systems with principles and philosophies of Six Sigma.

The result: An organization equipped to conduct business improvements that yield Real "Bottom Line" financial benefits to it's clients.

The organization is equipped to train Front-Line employees in the nature of variation and the main purpose of business via business games and focused training modules, to Senior Executives in understanding the Essential elements of Six Sigma and Six Sigma professionals (yellow, green, & black belts) Training is combined with business improvement facilitation aimed at real financial benefits to the clients organization.

All training and facilitation is based and aligned with the work done by Dr. Mikel Harry’s Six Sigma Management Institute. Knowledge testing is therefore done via them. In addition, we have included extra modules in our “Spirit of Six Sigma” knowledge base by expanding and including Lean Manufacturing and Theory of Constraints modules as well as the best Kobayashi’s 20 Keys.
